For more than 25 years we have been involved in a wide range of renovation projects of varying magnitude.
Since 1990 McCartan Contracting has built 16 subways and renovated 23 and provides ongoing maintenance services .
We are a Nanaimo based owned and operated construction company that focuses on commercial construction.
McCartan contracting was founded in 1989 by Terry McCartan . Since that time we have been involved with many projects on Vancouver island as well as the lower mainland and Alberta . As a family run company we are able to maintain that small company feel, as well as allowing us to achieve the quality our customers have come to know . Coming in on time and on budget is a must for us , one way to ensure we stay on schedule is doing the vast majority of the work in house from the framing to drywall , t-bar and millwork construction and installation . This keeps the project moving at all times and eliminates the transition time between trades it also makes sure nothing is missed or forgotten along the way and helps us complete projects on tight schedules . We also have a large arsenal of diversified equipment that helps in situations where something unforeseen occurs and a quick resolve is needed.
McCartan Contracting employees are red seal certified or are registered apprentices. We also ensure our subtrades are certified in their respected trade. And to ensure the highest standards are being achieved on every project.
For the past 8 years we have been providing steel stud, drywall, t-bar and finishing services on a number of their Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island locations.
